Preschool Storytime

Preschool Storytime is for children ages three to five years old and their caregivers. The first 30 minutes get children to actively participate in stories, songs, puppets, and movement. Designed to help parents prepare their child to be lifelong readers and problem solver, each story time is followed by a simple craft that lets everyone experience the book/theme of storytime through hands-on activity.

In Preschool Storytime we embrace the five early literacy practices recommended by Utah Kids Ready to Read. These practices are Talk, Sing, Read, Write and Play.  Each of these practices helps young children gain early literacy skills to better prepare them to begin kindergarten.
